Goalposts funded by Ole Miss donors, SEC fine next

Vaught-Hemingway Stadium will have new goalposts when Ole Miss plays Tennessee on Oct. 18.

Paying the SEC’s remaining $50,000 fine for storming the field after Saturday’s win over Alabama as a repeat offender is next on the list also completed.

As of 4:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday, 294 total donors have given $32,335 (more than enough to cover the goalposts) toward the Victory Celebration Fund’s $75,000 goal. There’s 22 days remaining until the remaining $50,000 fine to the SEC is due.
