Ole Miss knocks off Penn State in putting competition ahead of Peach Bowl
Ole Miss is already beating Penn State, just not in the game of football yet.
Ole Miss and Penn State are set to face off in the Peach Bowl and both teams decided to have a little friendly competition beforehand. The Rebels and Nittany Lions battled in a 5-yard putting contest, with Ole Miss coming out on top 28-16. The Rebels arrived in Atlanta on Christmas and are already off to winning ways.
The competition had its fair share of close calls. One player’s shot looked like it was going to miss the hole at first, but then the ball slowly rolled in on a second effort.
