Ole Miss to debut special cleats in Peach Bowl
The Ole Miss Rebels will play in the first-ever New Year’s Six bowl game when the square off against the TCU Horned Frogs in the Peach Bowl on Wednesday afternoon.
And according to one star linebacker’s Instagram, the Rebels will commemorate this opportunity by wearing special red and silver cleats for Wednesday’s game in Atlanta.
Those cleats will be accompanied by an all-white look, featuring white uniforms with red numbers as well as white pants.
According to Ole Miss beat reporter Hugh Kellenberger, Ole Miss has only donned the all-white look once during the Hugh Freeze era — a 35-20 win over Texas A&M on Oct. 11 of this year.
