In less than 24 hours, Ole Miss raises $90K to cover goalposts, SEC fine
Ole Miss athletic director Ross Bjork asked for help from all Rebels after Saturday’s win over Alabama and in less than 24 hours, got his wish.
After tweeting a link on Tuesday to RebelGiving.com, Ole Miss has received more than $90,000 as of Wednesday morning from contributors to cover the cost of the SEC’s post-game fine for storming the field and new goalposts in each end zone at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

The Rebels set up five levels of giving for the fine and goalposts and those who donated sums of $500 or $1,000 will receive a chunk of the ‘game-used’ goalposts from the win.
