Former Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly and the 2017 NFL Draft’s Mr. Irrelevant has signed a contract with the Denver Broncos.

9News’ Mike Klis reported via Twitter that it’s a four-year deal, landing Kelly a signing bonus of nearly $65,000. Obviously, $65,000 is a far cry from first-round money, but nonetheless, Kelly will get an opportunity to prove himself to GM John Elway and the Broncos during his contract.

Kelly’s draft stock somewhat plummeted following his knee injury at Ole Miss. Teams are worried about off-the-field issues, despite the blessing from his NFL Hall of Fame uncle Jim Kelly. He suffered a hand injury during Ole Miss’ Pro Day, and his time in front of scouts was certainly limited prior to the draft.

The image of Kelly essentially sleeping on his couch went viral during the NFL Draft, but that was prior to becoming the last pick on Saturday.

Once Kelly was picked, he was certainly elated. Prior to the draft, Kelly said he slept on the floor to know what it felt like to be on the bottom.

You can imagine what he felt like watching this live:
