Now that Phil Longo has moved on to join Mack Brown’s staff at North Carolina as an offensive coordinator, the Ole Miss Rebels are looking to fill their own coordinator position.

On Saturday, they have an interview with a former Pac-12 head coach who has a lot of experience running offenses.

Per Ole Miss reporter Chuck Rounsaville, ex-Arizona and Michigan head coach Rich Rodriguez is in town to interview for the open job:

Rodriguez has been a head coach since 2001, with stops at West Virginia, Michigan and Arizona before he lost his job with the Wildcats prior to the 2018 season.

Will he end up in Oxford as the offensive coordinator? We’ll see how the interview goes, but he’d be a big-name hire for the Rebels.
