Blake Ferguson’s playing career in Baton Rouge may be over but he didn’t want to pass up the opportunity to share his thoughts on Tiger Nation one last time.

Serving as LSU’s longsnapper since 2016, Ferguson’s impact on Ed Orgeron’s program is one that shouldn’t be overlooked as the moment you don’t have a longsnapper, it can show up on the field in disastrous fashion.

The two-time graduate and two-time LSU team captain appeared in 52 consecutive games for the Tigers after following in the footsteps of his older brother Reid in Baton Rouge and now will hope to catch on in the NFL as a specialist at the game’s highest level. Reid currently serves as the longsnapper of the Buffalo Bills.

With his playing career now done, Ferguson thanked all the LSU fans that have supported this team during his time with the program.
