Tennessee redshirt offensive lineman Charles Mosley was arrested for DUI and speeding, according to the Knoxville News Sentinel.

Here are the details from the Knoxville News Sentinel:

Mosley, 18, was stopped at 1:51 a.m. Wednesday on Interstate 40 for allegedly traveling 79 mph in a 55 mph zone.

The arresting officer noticed an odor of marijuana as he approached the vehicle, according to an arrest warrant.

Mosley told the arresting officer he was returning to campus from the Econo Lodge on Lovell Road.

“The defendant stated that he was not smoking, but his friends at the Econo Lodge were,” the arrest warrant states.

Mosley subsequently performed poorly on a field sobriety test, according to the warrant.

The arresting officer searched the vehicle and allegedly found “marijuana residue” in the front passenger area and back seat.

Mosley is set to appear July 29 in Knox County General Sessions Court.
