Mike Matthews, 5-star 2024 WR prospect, includes 7 SEC programs in top 12 list
Mike Matthews is a top 10 prep player in the country in the Class of 2024, as well as one of the most sought after. The Georgia native and talented 2-way player (also a standout safety at Parkview HS) listed his top 12 schools list on Tuesday, including 7 SEC programs.
Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Tennessee and Texas A&M all cracked the list for Matthews. Also under consideration are Ohio State, Michigan, USC, Colorado and Clemson.

Recruiting sites rank Matthews slightly differently, but he’s a consensus top 10 player in the country regardless. According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, Matthews is the No. 6 overall prospect, the No. 2 WR in the nation and the No. 2 player out of the Peach State.
