One lucky fan will soon have the opportunity to purchase a moment of Tennessee football history.

That’s because former Tennessee defensive back Rashaan Gaulden plans to sell his jersey from the 2017 Alabama game. No Volunteer fan could forget Gaulden’s “performance” from that game as the former Vol intercepted Tua Tagovailoa in the game and returned it for a touchdown. Then, Gaulden helped to create the most infamous photo of the 2017 football season — the double bird photo that’s so good it looks photoshopped.

Gaulden announced on Friday he will auction off the jersey for a Knoxville event known as “A Night to Remember” hosted by former Tennessee linebacker Curt Maggitt. The event is being held at Hops and Hollers of Knoxville with former Vols Joshua Dobbs, Cam Sutton, A.J. Johnson, Jalen Reeves-Maybin, Derek Barnett and Fred White are all expected to be in attendance.

All proceeds of the event are going to the Change Center in East Knoxville. The center was opened last year and is designed to help young people of the Knoxville community.
