If you missed the news this offseason, the NCAA is allowing football players to wear the No. 0 jersey starting this fall.

To no surprise, the No. 0 jersey has quickly become a hot commodity in college football as several elite players from around the Southeastern Conference have become the first player on their team to sport the jersey for the coming fall season.

Now we know which Tiger has been chosen to rock the No. 0 in 2020 as senior defensive lineman Tre Williams shared on Friday that he has switched from No. 93 to take the No. 0 jersey.

“I need to be more marketable,” Williams said according to Dave Matter of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Switching to No. 0 should definitely do that for Williams after coming off a season in which he made eight starts with 11 total appearances. Williams finished last season with 24 tackles, three tackles for loss and one sack.

Williams also had five quarterback hurries, which rated second on the team.
