Mississippi State still tied for nation’s largest 2015 class

While some BCS programs are still waiting on their first commitment for the class of 2015, Mississippi State already has nine of them.

Yep, nine of them. Good enough for a tie with West Virginia and LSU for the nation’s largest class. And the Bulldogs have a nice, lofty No. 6 national ranking for the group, too. Just consider this staff a bunch of ‘early risers’ as they’ve jumped out ahead of most people.

The gem of the group is 6-foot-3, 200-pound in-state defensive end Timothy Washington. He’s a four-star prospect.

“I’ve grown to know coach (Dan) Mullen over the past couple of months,” Washington told Saturday Down South. “He’s a great coach. He’s very welcoming and treats me very well and makes me feel at home. The coaching staff at Mississippi State treats me great.”

The Bulldogs are off to a nice start. Four of the pickups have come in the past three weeks.
