Now that Week 2 is officially in the books, let’s look at the 10 biggest stories you may have missed over the weekend.

1. Tennessee blew a late lead to Oklahoma at home, and Butch Jones wasn’t happy with the reaction of a Sooners linebacker.

2. After a record 10 SEC teams entered the weekend ranked in the Associated Press Top 25, only seven remained ranked after a rough week for the conference. The coaches poll wasn’t too kind to the SEC, either.

3. Florida survived to win against East Carolina, but not before Gators coach Jim McElwain went on a sideline tirade.

4. Kentucky snapped its six-year SEC road losing streak at South Carolina, in large part due to Patrick Towles’ big run.

5. Paul Finebaum defended Ohio State’s schedule, said “SEC fans need to shut up.”

6. Arkansas lost a shocker to MAC opponent Toledo, which had never beaten an AP-ranked team on the road before Saturday.

7. Ole Miss eclipsed 70 points for the second straight week, setting up a mouth-watering matchup with Alabama this Saturday.

8. Auburn needed overtime to beat Jacksonville State, during which RB Peyton Barber scored a game-winning touchdown and his father had a celebration for the ages.

9. Georgia opened up conference conference play at Vanderbilt, but the Bulldogs still have some work to do.

10. Mississippi State fans set the Guinness world record for number of cowbells rung at the same time, but the Bulldogs lose to LSU.
