10 SEC players make ESPN's midseason All-America team
Most FBS teams have now reached the halfway point of their seasons, and that means midseason awards are coming out.
On Thursday, ESPN named its midseason All-America team, and 10 SEC players were mentioned as standouts from the first 7 weeks.
As you can see below, LSU leads the way with 3 honorees, followed by Alabama and Kentucky with 2 apiece:

- Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU
- DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama
- Andrew Thomas, OL, Georgia
- Lynn Bowden Jr., All-purpose, Kentucky
- Derrick Brown, DL, Auburn
- Jonathan Greenard, DL, Florida
- Xavier McKinney, DB, Alabama
- Derek Stingley Jr., DB, LSU
- Max Duffy, P, Kentucky
