When it comes to 2019 NFL Draft projections, having only 11 SEC players in your first-round mock draft is almost a low number.

Some projections have as many as 14 or 15 SEC stars going in Round 1, but in Bleacher Report’s latest mock draft, only 11 are expected to go on Day 1.

As you can see below, Alabama linemen Quinnen Williams and Jonah Williams lead the way in the top five, with Georgia DB Deandre Baker bringing up the rear at No. 31:

  • No. 5 — Jonah Williams, OL, Alabama — New York Giants
  • No. 6 — Josh Allen, DE/LB, Kentucky — Buffalo Bills
  • No. 8 — Deionte Thompson, S, Alabama — Jacksonville Jaguars
  • No. 9 — Greedy Williams, DB, LSU — Cleveland Browns
  • No. 10 — Jachai Polite, DE, Florida — Detroit Lions
  • No. 12 — Raekwon Davis, DL, Alabama — Philadelphia Eagles

With only one week left in the regular season, players will be finalizing their game tape over the coming weeks.

Then, it’ll be off to the NFL Combine to try to impress scouts and earn first-round grades.
