12 SEC stars included in first round of updated CBS Sports 2019 NFL Mock Draft
The 2019 NFL Draft is quickly approaching, and with the NFL Combine coming up at the end of this month, teams will learn a lot more about the top prospects.
For now, a number of SEC athletes are preparing for the biggest job interviews of their careers, and a huge number of them will head to Indianapolis soon.
In CBS Sports analyst Chris Trapasso’s latest first-round mock draft, he has 12 SEC stars hearing their names called on Day 1. As you can see below, Kentucky pass rusher Josh Allen leads the way at No. 2 overall:

- No. 3 — Quinnen Williams, DL, Alabama — New York Jets
- No. 4 — Devin White, LB, LSU — Oakland Raiders
- No. 5 — Greedy Williams, DB, LSU — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- No. 10 — Jonah Williams, OL, Alabama — Denver Broncos
- No. 11 — Jawaan Taylor, OL, Florida — Cincinnati Bengals
- No. 12 — Montez Sweat, DL, Mississippi State — Green Bay Packers
- No. 13 — Jachai Polite, EDGE, Florida — Detroit Lions
- No. 17 — D.K. Metcalf, WR, Ole Miss — Cleveland Browns
- No. 28 — Drew Lock, QB, Mizzou — Los Angeles Chargers
