The SEC has dominated the NFL Draft in recent years, and that trend is expected to continue in 2019.

In fact, in Bleacher Report’s updated 2019 first-round mock draft, there are 13 SEC players projected to go in the first 32 picks.

As you can see below, LSU DB Greedy Williams is expected to be the first SEC player off the board at No. 3, followed by five other SEC stars in the top 10:

  • No. 3 — Greedy Williams, DB, LSU — San Francisco 49ers
  • No. 4 — Jonah Williams, OL, Alabama — Arizona Cardinals
  • No. 5 — Quinnen Williams, DL, Alabama — New York Jets
  • No. 7 — Josh Allen, DE/LB, Kentucky — Detroit Lions
  • No. 8 — Devin White, LB, LSU — Denver Broncos
  • No. 9 — Deionte Thompson, DB, Alabama — Jacksonville Jaguars
  • No. 12 — Jachai Polite, DE/LB, Florida — Indianapolis Colts
  • No. 18 — Deandre Baker, DB, Georgia — Miami Dolphins
  • No. 20 — Montez Sweat, DL, Mississippi State — Tennessee Titans
  • No. 26 — Mack Wilson, LB, Alabama — Carolina Panthers
  • No. 29 — Irv Smith Jr., TE, Alabama — Pittsburgh Steelers
  • No. 31 — Jeffery Simmons, DL, Mississippi State — Los Angeles Rams
  • No. 32 — Derrick Baity, DB, Kentucky — Kansas City Chiefs

An impressive five Alabama players are projected to be first-round picks, which would be great for coach Nick Saban’s squad.

A lot can change in the coming months, but all of these guys (and even more who weren’t mentioned) are certainly worthy of first-round consideration.
