The 2022 NFL Draft is still a few months away, but now that many players have finished their regular seasons, it’s time to think about the future.

In the coming days and weeks, star players will have decisions to make about whether to play in bowl games or opt out. Either way, the best decisions will be the ones that help their draft stocks.

This week, Pro Football Focus’s Michael Renner updated his 2022 first-round mock draft. As you can see below, he had 13 SEC standouts going in Round 1:

  • No. 10 — Travon Walker, Edge, Georgia — Minnesota Vikings
  • No. 11 — Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama — New Orleans Saints
  • No. 13 — Jordan Davis, DT, Georgia — Philadelphia Eagles
  • No. 15 — Nakobe Dean, LB, Georgia — Las Vegas Raiders
  • No. 19 — Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas — Miami Dolphins
  • No. 23 — Kenyon Green, OL, Texas A&M — Buffalo Bills
  • No. 25 — Kaiir Elam, CB, Florida — Dallas Cowboys
  • No. 31 — Roger McCreary, CB, Auburn — New England Patriots
  • No. 32 — DeMarvin Leal, Edge, Texas A&M — Arizona Cardinals
