The 2019 NFL Draft is quickly approaching, and a number of SEC stars are making their way up draft boards.

There are sure to be plenty of SEC athletes hearing their names called in Round 1 in April, and in NFL.com analyst Lance Zierlein’s first-round mock draft, he has 15 players from the conference going in the first 32 picks.

As you can see below, Kentucky’s Josh Allen is projected to go No. 1 overall, and the SEC accounts for the No. 8 through the No. 15 picks — an incredible feat if it happens:

  • No. 1 — Josh Allen, EDGE, Kentucky — Arizona Cardinals
  • No. 5 — Quinnen Williams, DL, Alabama — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • No. 8 — Montez Sweat, DL, Mississippi State — Detroit Lions
  • No. 9 — D.K. Metcalf, WR, Ole Miss — Buffalo Bills
  • No. 10 — Drew Lock, QB, Mizzou — Denver Broncos
  • No. 11 — Jawaan Taylor, OL, Florida — Cincinnati Bengals
  • No. 12 — Jeffery Simmons, DL, Mississippi State — Green Bay Packers
  • No. 13 — Greedy Williams, DB, LSU — Miami Dolphins
  • No. 14 — Jonah Williams, OL, Alabama — Atlanta Falcons
  • No. 15 — Jachai Polite, EDGE, Florida — Washington Redskins
  • No. 17 — Devin White, LB, LSU — Cleveland Browns
  • No. 20 — Mack Wilson, LB, Alabama — Pittsburgh Steelers
  • No. 22 — Josh Jacobs, RB, Alabama — Baltimore Ravens
  • No. 23 — Greg Little, OL, Ole Miss — Houston Texans
  • No. 29 — Deandre Baker, DB, Georgia — Kansas City Chiefs

Alabama led the way with four first-round picks, and LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Florida all had multiple players taken.
