The SEC dominates the first round of the NFL Draft year in and year out, and 2019 isn’t expected to be much different.

In fact, in CBS Sports analyst Ryan Wilson’s latest first-round mock draft, the SEC accounts for 16 (yes, 16) of the 32 picks in Round 1.

As you can see below, Kentucky LB Josh Allen is expected to go No. 2 overall, followed by 15 other SEC stars, including five from Alabama:

  • No. 8 — Jachai Polite, DL/LB, Florida — Detroit Lions
  • No. 9 — D.K. Metcalf, WR, Ole Miss — Buffalo Bills
  • No. 10 — Drew Lock, QB, Mizzou — Denver Broncos
  • No. 11 — Devin White, LB, LSU — Cincinnati Bengals
  • No. 12 — Deionte Thompson, DB, Alabama — Green Bay Packers
  • No. 19 — Riley Ridley, WR, Georgia — Tennessee Titans
  • No. 21 — Deandre Baker, DB, Georgia — Seattle Seahawks
  • No. 24 — Montez Sweat, DL, Mississippi State — Oakland Raiders
