2 conferences announce their basketball tournaments will be held without fans
As the coronavirus continues to spread around the country, conference basketball tournaments are being altered in big ways.
Almost every conference has modified certain cleaning procedures and access to locker rooms thus far, but most are proceeding with fans in attendance.
However, for 2 Division I conferences — the MAC and the Big West — the tournaments will be held without fans in attendance:

With many major conference tournaments starting this week, we’ll see if others decide to follow suit.
For now, this is an interesting start to March. The NCAA has been in contact with the CDC about COVID-19, too, so we’ll see if the NCAA Tournament is altered at all.
