2 SEC standouts named finalists for the 2019 Outland Trophy award
The Outland Trophy is given annually to the best interior lineman — either offensive or defensive — in college football.
This year, there are 6 finalists, and they were announced on Wednesday night. Unsurprisingly, 2 SEC standout linemen are among that group.
Per a tweet from the award’s Twitter account, Auburn DT Derrick Brown and Georgia OT Andrew Thomas are among the finalists:

Both of those SEC stars are expected to be first-round picks in the 2020 NFL Draft, so we’ll see if they do indeed live up to that potential.
Will Brown or Thomas take home the Outland Trophy this year? The winner will be announced on Dec. 12 during the College Football Awards Show.
