On Thursday night, popular ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit handed out his annual “Herbie” awards.

Naturally, after the year Alabama and other top SEC squads had, they were well represented during the half-hour show.

As you can see below, Alabama won five awards, with LSU LB Devin White and Florida coach Dan Mullen also snagging some honors:

  • Offensive Player of the Year: Tua Tagovailoa
  • Defensive Player of the Year: Devin White
  • Throwback Player of the Year: Quinnen Williams
  • First-year head coach of the year: Dan Mullen
  • Performance of the Year: Jalen Hurts, SEC Championship Game
  • Game of the Year: SEC Championship Game
  • Ultimate Herbie: Damien Harris

All of those players, coaches and games were certainly deserving, so it’s no surprise the SEC dominated the awards.
