Round 2 of the 2020 NFL Draft continued Friday night, and much like the first, the SEC owned the second round, too.

The SEC set a first-round record Thursday night with 15 players picked. The conference also set records for 6 of the first 10 picks and 10 of the first 20 picks. The SEC also had 2 quarterbacks — Joe Burrow and Tua Tagovailoa — picked in the top 5, the only conference in history to accomplish that feat.

After falling to the second round, Georgia running back D’Andre Swift got the party started and went off the board to the Detroit Lions at No. 35 overall. All total, the SEC saw 10 players drafted in the second round, bringing its two-round total to 25. The previous record was 22, which was set by the SEC in 2019.
