The debut Coaches Poll for the 2021 college football season was just released by USA Today.

During the preseason, the Coaches Poll and AP Top 25 poll, which will be released next week, always creates lots of conversation, and this year will be no different.

The Alabama Crimson Tide enters the season as the nation’s No. 1 overall team, while the Clemson Tigers start at No. 2. Oklahoma (3), Ohio State (4) and Georgia (5) round out the top 5 teams. Texas A&M is ranked just outside of the top 5 at No. 6.

The Florida Gators check in at No. 11, while LSU is 13th and Ole Miss is 25th.
