As we’ve seen already this year, SEC fans can get pretty rowdy during home games, often getting into fights at tailgates and in the stands.

In fact, last year, the SEC had three teams among the top-10 schools with the most ejections, according to a KGW.com report.

As you can see in this infographic, South Carolina tops the list, with Florida coming in at No. 8 and Georgia at No. 9:

  • South Carolina — 496 ejections
  • Florida — 150 ejections
  • Georgia — 191 ejections

Even when adjusted to account for total number of fans, South Carolina leads the way with .92 ejections per 1,000 fans. Florida and Georgia both have .34 ejections per 1,000 fans.

Seeing Utah and Wyoming in the top 10 is a bit surprising, but fights can happen anywhere.

We’ll have to wait and see how the 2017 numbers turn out, but it’s a safe bet there will be a few SEC schools on the list once again.
