We’re in the third quarter of the AFC Wild Card game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans, and the SEC is making its presence felt in a very big way.

In every phase of the game. For both teams.

As of the 14:56 mark of the fourth quarter, all three touchdowns in the game have come from SEC players. The first of which was by former Arkansas running back Knile Davis, who returned the opening kickoff of the entire postseason 106 yards for a touchdown.

The other came thanks to former Georgia receiver, rookie Chris Conley, on a 9-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Alex Smith.

The third came from former LSU running back Spencer Ware, who punched his way into the end zone from 5 yards out to begin the fourth quarter to put Kansas City up 27-0.

Speaking of Ware, he laid out Quintin Demps on this run earlier in the game.

Meanwhile, another Chiefs player, former Tennessee safety Eric Berry, has one of the team’s three interceptions. Last but not least, another former LSU running back Alfred Blue, had accounted for most of the Texans’ anemic offense at the 14:56 mark in the fourth quarter. He had 97 yards, which was more than half of Houston’s total output (163) at the time.
