The SEC is going to be absolutely loaded at the quarterback position during the 2018 season, with several teams having established stars.

However, there’s a class of SEC quarterbacks who are among the nation’s elite, and on Saturday, CBS Sports reporter Dennis Dodd named four SEC throwers among the top-10 quarterbacks in the country.

Listed in alphabetical order, these are the four players who should have huge 2018 seasons for their respective squads:

  • Nick Fitzgerald, Mississippi State
  • Jake Fromm, Georgia
  • Drew Lock, Missouri
  • Jarrett Stidham, Auburn

South Carolina’s Jake Bentley, Ole Miss’s Jordan Ta’amu, Vanderbilt’s Kyle Shurmur and whoever eventually wins Alabama’s quarterback battle between Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa also could end up having top-10 seasons, but it’s hard to argue with the above choices.
