6 former SEC standouts tryout for NFL teams this week
The 2020 NFL season is underway, and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, rosters and practice squads have been expanded a bit.
This week, a handful of former SEC players landed tryouts with NFL squads as they try to find spots for themselves in the pro ranks.
Per Albert Breer of The Monday Morning Quarterback, these 6 former SEC standouts have tried out for NFL squads this week:
- Kelly Bryant, QB, Mizzou — Houston Texans
- Tim Williams, LB/DE, Alabama — Seattle Seahawks
- Kobe Smith, DL, South Carolina — Seattle Seahawks
- Teez Tabor, CB, Florida — Miami Dolphins
- Elliott Fry, K, South Carolina — Atlanta Falcons
- Devaroe Lawrence, DL, Auburn — Washington Football Team
