Now that the NCAA Tournament is over, players are making their 2019 NBA Draft decision, choosing between staying in school and turning pro.

Those decisions are expected to be finalized soon, and several SEC stars are expected to hear their names called during June’s draft.

On Tuesday, Bleacher Report updated the first round of its mock draft, and as you can see below, six SEC stars are projected to go in Round 1:

  • No. 4 — Darius Garland, PG, Vanderbilt — Chicago Bulls
  • No. 10 — PJ Washington, F, Kentucky — Minnesota Timberwolves
  • No. 17 — Keldon Johnson, G/F, Kentucky — Orlando Magic
  • No. 20 — Grant Williams, F, Tennessee — San Antonio Spurs
  • No. 24 — Tyler Herro, G, Kentucky — Philadelphia 76ers
  • No. 28 — Chuma Okeke, F, Auburn — Golden State Warriors

Okeke would be an interesting fit. He hasn’t been projected in Round 1 of many drafts and may end up returning to school, but the Warriors would be a team that could take their time with him during his ACL recovery.
