The 2020 NBA Draft is still set for June, though that could certainly change over the coming weeks, depending on what happens with the coronavirus outbreak.

For now, though, teams and analysts are proceeding as if the draft will go on as scheduled.

This week, Bleacher Report’s Keegan Pope released an updated Round 1 mock draft and, as you can see below, 6 SEC players are projected to go in the first 30 picks:

  • No. 1 — Anthony Edwards, G, Georgia — Golden State Warriors
  • No. 4 — Isaac Okoro, F, Auburn — Atlanta Hawks
  • No. 15 — Tyrese Maxey, G, Kentucky — Orlando Magic
  • No. 16 — Aaron Nesmith, F, Vanderbilt — Minnesota Timberwolves
  • No. 23 — Kira Lewis Jr., G, Alabama — Miami Heat
  • No. 25 — Robert Woodard II, G, Mississippi State — Oklahoma City Thunder

We’ll see how many SEC guys actually go in Round 1 when the NBA Draft tips off, perhaps in June or perhaps later.
