Saturday’s Senior Bowl will be fun for many SEC fans to see some of their favorites players play one last football game before the 2021 NFL Draft.

For players, arguably the most important part of the Senior Bowl experience is the week of practice where they are closely observed by pro scouts and coaches. Many SEC standouts over the years, such as Dak Prescott, have been able to boost their draft stock by impressing the NFL staffers in Mobile.

On Friday, Senior Bowl director Jim Nagy shared the winners of the practice player-of-week awards, as voted on by the position group they went head-to-head against during practice, via Twitter. (For example, the secondary group voted on the top quarterback and wide receiver.)

Though the National Team roster includes former SEC players, all of the SEC alumni recognized as of publishing time are from the American Team:

  • Top QB: Mac Jones, Alabama
  • Top TE: Tre McKitty, Georgia
  • Top RB: Kylin Hill, Mississippi State
  • Top WR: Kadarius Toney, Florida
  • Top LB: K.J. Britt, Auburn
  • Top CB: D.J. Daniel, Georgia
  • Top specialist: Max Duffy (Punter), Kentucky

We’ll see what kind of highlight plays they produce on Saturday. The game is set for 2:30 p.m. ET, airing on the NFL Network.
