The 2019-20 college basketball season is heating up, and we’re starting to see which players are positioning themselves to be Round 1 picks in the 2020 NBA Draft.

On Tuesday, Yahoo analyst Krysten Peek released her latest first-round mock draft, and 7 SEC players are projected to go in the first 30 picks.

As you can see below, Kentucky has 2 players going in Round 1, with Georgia’s Anthony Edwards going No. 2 overall:

  • No. 2 — Anthony Edwards, G, Georgia — Atlanta Hawks
  • No. 9 — Tyrese Maxey, G, Kentucky — Sacramento Kings
  • No. 17 — Isaac Okoro, F, Auburn — Boston Celtics
  • No. 18 — Aaron Nesmith, F, Vanderbilt — Oklahoma City Thunder
  • No. 26 — Isaiah Joe, G, Arkansas — Oklahoma City Thunder
  • No. 29 — Ashton Hagans, G, Kentucky — Los Angeles Lakers
  • No. 30 — Scottie Lewis, G, Florida — Boston Celtics

With the conference tournaments and March Madness still to come this season, there will be plenty of time for other guys to improve their draft stock. We’ll see who ends up actually going in Round 1 when June rolls around.
