Elite California quarterback Matt Corral’s commitment to Florida wasn’t the only recruiting story of interest to come out of Gainesville this weekend. One of the top wide receive prospects in the 2018 recruiting class says he’ll be committing sooner than originally planned.

Jacob Copeland, a 4-star wideout from Pensacola, Fla., tweeted that he will no longer wait until the Under Armour All-America game in January, but commit “real soon” via a commitment video.

The video does not appear to have been filmed yet, as Copeland is asking his Twitter followers for ideas.

If Copeland gets his way, the video will feature “Tunnel Vision” rapper Kodak Black.

In April, Copeland released a top five of Auburn, Alabama, Florida, Ole Miss, and Tennessee. At UF’s Friday Night Lights camp, however, he told 247Sports’ Blake Alderman ($) that Alabama, Florida and Florida State are the three schools that have separated themselves from the pack.

Checking in at 6-foot, 190 pounds, Copeland is ranked the 2018 class’ No. 9 wide receiver, No. 9 Florida recruit and No. 49 player overall on the 247Sports Composite. His highlights can be viewed below:
