As each week of college football passes on, Heisman talk becomes more and more legitimate. Candidates move on from playing cupcakes, there’s more data under their belt and consistency really starts to shine through.

With 2 games under the belt, it’s getting a touch clearer who the contenders are with a huge pool to pick from. On3 Sports analysts Matt Zenitz and Mike Huguenin released their picks Tuesday morning.

4 separate SEC players across 3 schools made the cut.

The odds don’t disagree with the analyst’s picks. Bryce Young should be the favorite by some distance.

Stetson Bennett and Hendon Hooker have played well to start the season. Bennett especially has looked good after some considered he was carried to a title by Georgia’s monster defense last season. He’s on a mission to prove to everyone that’s not the case.

Hooker is looking to take a step following a strong first season in the SEC, and he’s already shown off his arm talent. The Vols are 2-0 after downing Ball State and No. 17 Pitt on the road.

Will Anderson is the final SEC selection on this list. Anderson, despite all his ferocity and power, really struggled against Texas with penalties especially. If you can write that off as simply the heat getting to him, Anderson’s inclusion here is a given.
