Just when it looked like the Southeastern Conference had an excellent handle on COVID, we’ve been hit with a pair of unexpected postponements this week in the league.

First, it was Vanderbilt’s Saturday trip to Missouri that was lost, and now, we’ve lost LSU’s weekend trip to Florida that won’t be played this weekend.

The good news is those games have been rescheduled for Saturday, Dec. 12. The 2020 SEC Championship Game is set for Saturday, Dec. 19 in Atlanta.

That was a date set aside by the SEC before the season began in the event that games had to be postponed.

With the SEC Week 4 schedule trimmed to five games, the SEC announced on Wednesday that two games — Ole Miss at Arkansas and Texas A&M at Mississippi State — have shifted television networks.

Both games will keep the same kickoff times are previously scheduled.

Here are the details of each game’s new TV home:

Ole Miss at Arkansas will now be carried by the SEC Network (originally ESPN2)

Texas A&M at Mississippi State will now be carried by ESPN (originally SEC Network)

Ole Miss at Arkansas is set to begin at 3:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. CT with Texas A&M at Arkansas set to begin at 4 p.m. ET/3 p.m. CT.
