Booger McFarland and Greg McElroy previewed the Week 10 matchup between Alabama and LSU.

This game will feature No. 6 Alabama and No. 10 LSU in a top 10 meeting. This game has College Football Playoff and SEC Championship implications. It will be a road game for Alabama and will be a critical game in the SEC West.

In an appearance on ESPN College Football’s YouTube channel, McElroy and McFarland broke down one of the most important SEC games this season. McFarland explained what LSU needs to do to slow down Alabama:

“Obviously, LSU is an underdog and they deserve to be that just based on the incosistency of the quarterback play. I think Jayden Daniels is starting to rip it and let it go a little bit,” McFarland said. “He’s got to because the best part of LSU’s team are the wide receivers. As a quarterback you have to get the ball to those wide receivers.”

LSU will need Daniels to have a solid performance. On the season, Daniels has passed for 1,812 yards, 12 touchdowns, and 1 interception. In Week 8 against Ole Miss, he accounted for 248 passing yards and 5 total touchdowns.

For Alabama, the team responded well to the Tennessee loss with a 30-6 win over Mississippi State in Week 8. Alabama holds a 2-game winning streak over LSU.

LSU will play host to Alabama on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET.
