The 2018 college football season is inching closer and closer, and CBS’ panel of college football experts have released their 2018 Preseason All-American teams.

The only three unanimous first-team selections this year are Stanford running back Bryce Love, Houston defensive tackle Ed Oliver and Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa.

As far as conferences go, the SEC leads all selections with 16, while the Pac-12 has 11 and the Big Ten has 10.

The Pac-12 leads all conferences in first-team selections with seven, however, and the SEC and Big Ten both have five.

For CBS’ All-American offensive first team, Ole Miss wide receiver A.J. Brown, Alabama center Ross Piershbacher and Alabama offensive lineman Jonah Williams represent the SEC. LSU linebacker Devin White and LSU cornerback Greedy Williams round up the SEC first-team defensive selections.

On the All-American second team, Mizzou tight end Albert Okwuegbunam, Ole Miss offensive lineman Greg Little and Florida kicker Martez Ivey represent the SEC on offense.

Defensively, Mississippi State defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons, Alabama defensive lineman Raekwon Davis and Georgia cornerback Deandre Baker are the SEC players who made CBS’ All-American second team.

Georgia kicker Rodrigo Blankenship, Mizzou punter Corey Fatony, South Carolina kick returner Deebo Samuel and Mizzou punt returner Richaud Floyd were the second-team special teams players who represented the SEC.
