With less than a week to go until the arrival of 2017 SEC Media Days, one of the topics trending around the nation is the job status of several embattled head coaches. You can add CBS Sports’ Dennis Dodd to the growing list of writers pondering job statuses, as the long-time college football writer recently published his annual list ranking each and every NCAA coach in terms of a hot seat ranking.

Dodd lists every coach, not just those coaching for their job, which makes this list unique. The list ranks coaches on a scale from 0 to 5, with 0 meaning the coach is not facing any pressure whatsoever heading into the 2017 season, while 5 means the coach is facing immediate pressure to deliver wins.

Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin is the only coach from the SEC to earn a 5 rating, while Alabama’s Nick Saban is the only coach from the league that has a 0 ranking attached to his name.
