It might seem like the 2017 NFL Draft was only yesterday, but CBS Sports is already ranking the top prospects for next spring’s draft.

While not necessarily a draft order, as every team has specefic roster needs, CBS has a pair of Tigers teammates, Arden Key and Derrius Guice, as the top two prospects from the SEC. In fact, Key has the top spot among all 2018 draft prospects.

  • LSU DE Arden Key (No. 1)
  • LSU RB Derrius Guice (No. 7)
  • Alabama FS Minkah Fitzpatrick (No. 13)
  • Texas A&M WR Christian Kirk (No. 21)
  • Mississippi State OT Martinas Rankin (No. 22)
  • Alabama WR Calvin Ridely (No. 27)
  • Florida WR Antonio Callaway (No. 40)
  • Georgia RB Nick Chubb (No. 41)
  • Alabama DE Da’Shawn Hand (No. 46)
  • Alabama RB Bo Scarbrough (No. 49)
  • Florida OG Martez Ivey (No. 51)
  • Texas A&M FS Armani Watts (No. 53)
  • Ole Miss OLB Marquis Haynes (No. 54)
  • Georgia OLB Davin Bellamy (No. 56)
  • Georgia RB Sony Michel (No. 59)
  • Auburn CB Carlton Davis (No. 68)
  • Alabama SS Ronnie Harrison (No. 72)
  • Alabama CB Anthony Averett (No. 76)
  • Auburn QB Jarrett Stidham (No. 79)
  • Arkansas C Frank Ragnow (No. 80)
  • Alabama RB Damien Harris (No. 83)
  • Auburn DE Byron Cowart (No. 87)
  • Tennessee DE Reginald Kahlil McKenzie Jr. (No. 93)
  • Alabama DT Da’Ron Payne (No. 96)
  • Alabama CB Tony Brown (No. 99)

Though the top two spots went to Tigers, Alabama leads the way with nine in the top 100, including what’s likely to be the Crimson Tide’s starting secondary. It’s a steep drop off to second place in the conference, as Auburn and Georgia both have three players on the list. They’re followed by Florida, LSU and Texas A&M with two apiece. Arkansas, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Tennessee each have one prospect.

A lot can change between now and January, but juniors and redshirt sophomores likely to go in the first two rounds may be entering their final fall on an SEC campus.
