Following (most of) Week 1 of the college football season, the SEC is an impressive 12-1, with Tennessee’s loss to West Virginia being the only blemish so far.

LSU still has to play Miami on Sunday night, but for now, we have a good look at how the teams will play this fall.

On Sunday morning, Outkick the Coverage’s Clay Travis released his SEC power rankings (with LSU omitted until the game Sunday night is over). As you can see below, Alabama holds down the top spot, but from there, things get interesting:

  • No. 1 — Alabama
  • No. 2 — Auburn
  • No. 3 — Ole Miss
  • No. 4 — Vanderbilt
  • No. 5 — Kentucky
  • No. 6 — Georgia
  • No. 7 — Mississippi State
  • No. 8 — Texas A&M
  • No. 9 — Florida
  • No. 10 — South Carolina
  • No. 11 — Mizzou
  • No. 12 — Arkansas
  • No. 13 — Tennessee

Travis makes clear that he doesn’t think Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and Kentucky could beat Georgia, but he’s just basing his rankings on what he saw in Week 1.

Travis also weighed in on Alabama’s quarterback situation, Tennessee’s loss, Auburn’s big win and more. Check it out here.
