WATCH: White House not exactly rolling out the red carpet for Clemson football team
The Clemson Tigers are visiting the White House this evening following their blowout national championship win over Alabama, but the White House won’t be feeding them like champions.
What will the players be eating exactly? Well, fast-food, of course.
President Trump told reporters outside the White House that he’ll treat the team to McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Burger King and pizza, “I really mean it. It will be interesting. And I would think that’s their favorite food.”
"The Clemson national championship team will be coming tonight. It will be exciting. Very great team. Unbelievable team. I think we're going to serve McDonalds, Wendys, and Burger King…some pizza. I really mean it. Their favorite food. So we'll see what happens"

Clemson is scheduled to meet with the President at 6:30 p.m. ET this evening in a public event, but the team’s visit is dependent on the weather, as Washington received several inches of snow over the weekend.
Clemson visited the White House following the 2017 (2016 season) national championship.
