We see scholarship reveal videos multiple times every year, and they never get old.

Northern Illinois coach Thomas Hammock found an incredible way to reveal to freshman wide receiver Trayvon Rudolph that he has been put on scholarship. Rudolph, from Crete, Illinois, has impressed the coaching staff.

“Listen up, okay? So, after practice, anybody see the schedule? We got conditioning as a team,” Hammock said to his players. “I’m going to give each side of the ball one shot — a one-on-one route — to not have conditioning.”

Wide receivers coach Tony Sorrentino picked Rudolph for the offense, and the stage was set for the scholarship reveal.

Rudolph ended up making the long juggling touchdown reception, which saved the offense from post-practice conditioning, and Hammock asked him if he had read the football after he caught it.
