The transfer market is heating up in college basketball, and Pitt guard Trey McGowens is one of the most-coveted players on that market.

He took time on Monday to narrow his list of schools to 8, and 4 SEC teams remain in the mix for his services.

Those 4 SEC teams will compete with Nebraska, Seton Hall, TCU and Xavier for McGowens’ services in 2020-21 and beyond.

McGowens played in 33 games for Pitt this past season, starting 32. He averaged 11.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.9 steals in 33.6 minutes per game.
