Dan Mullen continues his weekly predictions today with his favorites for Week 8. This weekend has several top-25 matchups with UCLA playing at Oregon, Syracuse at Clemson, and Texas at Oklahoma State.

On Thursday, Mullen shared his picks for Saturday, via Twitter:

In the SEC, Mullen has Alabama rebounding with a win over ranked Mississippi State and Ole Miss continuing on its unbeaten campaign by winning against LSU. Alabama lost last week at Tennessee and hopes to fix its penalty issues at home. Ole Miss will travel to Baton Rouge and play a LSU team that is trying to find its identity under new head coach Brian Kelly.

He listed a couple of Big 12 matchups with Texas upsetting Oklahoma State and TCU handling business against Kansas State. Texas has played like a different team with the return of quarterback Quinn Ewers and Mullen likes for them to take down Oklahoma State in a 3:30 away game.

The biggest game of the weekend is in the Pac-12 with two top-10 teams facing off for the future of the conference. UCLA will travel to Oregon who has bounced back from its Week 1 game against Georgia.

Mullen doesn’t see any surprises in Ohio State against Iowa and has the Clemson Tigers taking down Syracuse at home. He also sees Dave Aranda’s Baylor giving Kansas its 3rd loss for the year.

The former head coach had some good picks last week and hopes to keep going in Week 8.
