Darnell Washington is one of the more coveted prospects in the nation in the 2020 recruiting cycle for good reason. His unique blend of speed, athleticism and size look to be a nightmare matchup for defenses at the next level and have college coaches envisioning the next Rob Gronkowski joining their program.

The Las Vegas native recently announced he has narrowed his options down to 12 and half of his list features SEC programs. Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU and Tennessee all made the cut for a prospect 247Sports Composite Rankings list as the nation’s No. 14 overall prospect in the 2020 recruiting cycle and the No. 2 athlete.

The 6-foot-7, 248-pound Washington announced the latest update on his recruitment on Twitter.
