Jared Goff had an embarrassing fumble on Sunday against the Chicago Bears, and it wasn’t entirely his fault.

Waiting for a snap to come, Goff, the Detroit Lions QB, was not entirely ready for the ball when the center snapped it to him, and because he was so close to the lineman, it bounced off Goff’s body and went directly to a Bears defensive lineman, who caught it.

The Lions got off to a rough start against the Bears, and the fumble was only part of it. They trailed 14-0 and had just 65 total yards by early in the second quarter.
