Elite 11 Finals QB roster finalized: Includes several SEC commits, targets
With the 2017 Elite 11 Finals roster finalized, it’s now time to find out which quarterback has the right combination of talent, drive, and ability in the face of constant competition to rise above the rest and claim the ultimate summer quarterback title.
Held annually and led by former Super Bowl winner and standout Fresno State quarterback Trent Dilfer, the Elite 11 holds regional competitions all around the country in order to narrow the field down to a select few. The camp participants below are those finalists for the 2018 recruiting cycle.
The field this season contains 24 prospects from all over the nation, including four quarterbacks currently committed to SEC schools, six uncommitted prospects with offers from SEC schools as well as several committed prospects still being recruited by some of those in the SEC.
Mitch Stephens of MaxPreps did a great job of rounding up this year’s roster. We’ve broken it down into three categories: SEC commits, uncommitted prospects, and prospects committed to schools outside the SEC. One omission to report, Tennessee quarterback commit Adrian Martinez would have participated if not for an offseason surgery which has kept him sidelined for the event.
