Four-star DE Malcolm Lamar (Seffner, Florida) dropped his top five Saturday afternoon, and it includes four SEC teams: Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss and Tennessee. The only non-SEC team included was Oregon.

Noticeably absent are the in-state Florida Gators, who most thought would eventually land Lamar’s signature on National Signing Day, and although anything can happen and change in recruiting, it’s certainly not a good sign for the Gators.

Lamar seems to be very high on Alabama entering the summer.

The 6-5, 250-pound prospect is rated as the country’s No. 7 strong-side DE and the Sunshine State’s No. 35 overall prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
