ESPN analyst Booger McFarland tweets takeaways from SEC's Week 12 action
Every Sunday morning, ESPN analyst Booger McFarland hops on Twitter to share some of his thoughts on the previous day’s action.
It was cupcake week for a few SEC teams, but that doesn’t mean there weren’t things to watch for on Saturday. McFarland shared his feelings about some of the SEC’s top teams and some other impressive squads from around the country.
Rivalry week is next weekend, so there will be a lot more to discuss at that point, but for now, McFarland breaks down what teams did in Week 12.
Here’s what he had to say about a few SEC teams that played on Saturday:
Bama- it was Mercer Need to get healthy Defense has to play a lot better vs Auburn than theybdidnvs Miss St

Auburn- it was Monroe Must have the same edge and control against Alabama that they had against Georgia Have to be able to run the ball vs Alabama Johnson can get into Heisman race with a huge game

Arkansas – u fire the AD Most people assume u will fire the head coach, it will be a mistake to fire the head coach without a new AD in place Especially since there is no HOME RUN hire Allow Brett to come back or hire a new AD quick which won’t happen

S Carolina- very very good football team defense is so much better than I thought they would be Bentley continues to impress and is one of the bright young stars in the country

LSU- unbelievable weather last night Defense was tremendous but damn can LSU figure out how to play a screen pass ? Expect a lot of them from Texas AM Etling is gritty, he tries hard, really competes well Just not very talented O Line is playing well together
